Formerly Heckmondwike and District Co-operative Funeral Services Manager for 20 years, David established our business in 1987 with his son; Richard, and son-in-law; Shawn, joining shortly after following a career in the Royal Air Force.

In 2008 David handed the reins to his Daughter Claire and son-in-law Shawn who continue to forward the business under the traditions and values that David created.

Also in 2008 David’s son Richard took the reins of the Monumental side of the business founding Butterfield Memorials.

Our aim is to offer the highest principles and values of the traditional funeral service, and we are very proud that we have established a reputation for providing a caring professional service at a reasonable cost.
